The Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection has named the three finalists for the Family Court Judicial Vacancy. The names have been sent to Governor Sandoval who will select the new Judge from the list. The finalists are as follows:
1. Cassandra Campbell, 59, Reno, Law Office of Casey Campbell
2. Egan Walker, 49, Sparks, Court Master, Second Judicial District Court
3. Kenneth Ward, 58, Fernley, attorney in private practice
The Supreme Court website states there is no time limit for the Governor to appoint the new Judge; however if someone is not appointed within thirty (30) days the Governor can appoint any other positions until someone is chosen.
